Meet our Beneficiaries- the Gary Sinise Foundation
We are excited to introduce our final beneficiary, the Gary Sinise Foundation.
At its core, the mission of the Gary Sinise Foundation is to ensure the sacrifices of America’s defenders and their families are never forgotten. They accomplish this through myriad endeavors, including various programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
While Gary Sinise has been involved in supporting our military veterans for nearly 40 years, the Foundation was created in 2011 with a broad mission, including four key initiatives providing entertainment, family support, and acts of appreciation for our American heroes and their loved ones. The CMG Foundation is particularly proud to support the R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment), which builds specially adapted smart homes for America’s severely wounded heroes. These unique homes feature amenities and modifications specialized to ease the daily challenges these heroes face. R.I.S.E. also provides adapted vehicles, mobility devices, and home modifications to affected veterans and heroes from all conflicts. Please take a moment to watch the following video from R.I.S.E. about US Army Master Sergeant Cedric King’s home dedication:
The CMG Foundation has been a proud supporter of the Gary Sinise Foundation since our very first auction. We are privileged to continue this tradition at our 8th Annual Wine Tasting and Charity Auction on Monday, July 16th 2018 at the Grand Hyatt in Union Square, right in the heart of San Francisco. This year’s circus-themed “Under the Big Top” night will not only be a memorable evening of fun and charitable giving, but will also provide the opportunity to give directly to the Gary Sinise Foundation. Please, mark your calendar and we hope to see you in July!
